Data privacy

This website uses some logging to collect and compile statistic reports about the number of page visits and used bandwith / data transfer. The following items are recorded:

  • Anonymized client IP address. Your IP is changed from aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd to something like anon-aaa-bbb-xxx-yyy-invalid so that it keeps unique but can not be backtracked.
  • Timestamp of your visit
  • Request line, e.g. /pages/imprint. This is used to track which page on the site you visited.
  • HTTP-Status code. This is normally 200 if the site could be delivered to your browser, 404 if a page you requested could not be found. This helps to track errors on the site.
  • Size of response body. This is used to measure the used data transfer.
  • Referer: If your browser sent an information from where you came to our site (e.g. Google) this is stored, too.
  • User Agent: The browser or any other web client (curl, wget) you used to request information from the site.

We do not use any cookies or other tracking mechanisms except for the above stated.
